TOTHEM is a historical band of Italian and international Rock / Melodic Metal based in Rome.
To his credit two EPs (“Tothem”, 2003, and “Osaka Bed & Breakfast”, 2010) and three albums (“Beyond the Sea”, 2013; “Gemini”, 2016; “Rise”, 2020).
They participated in numerous events: among these, the 34th edition of Sanremo Rock where the band ranked first in the first edition of the “Sanremo Live in the city” contest. Nora Hime, singer of the group, won the “Vocal care” award and, lastly, Tothem were invited to the International Festival Gran Galà in San Marino. In 2022 the band arrived among the semifinalists of “Una Voce per San Marino” Eurovision Song Contest, reached the final of the Tour Music Fest and won the 16th edition of the Roma Music Festival.
In recent years they have toured both in Italy and abroad, in England, Germany, Holland and Romania. In the latter country, on the occasion of the presentation of the second album "Gemini", the band played their Romanian Folk Rock cover “Fata Verde” which brought them to the pages of the most important national newspapers, arousing, among others, comments enthusiastic about the composer Nicu Covaci who only a few months later took the stage with Tothem for the last date of their tour in Bucharest. In Italy, they were the opening act of the Italian tour of Paul Di Anno, former singer of Iron Maiden.
On April 4, 2020, in full national lockdown, the band's latest full length album, "Rise", was released, an album of ten songs ranging from rock to melodic metal, without forgetting the characteristic attention to melody.
For the promotion of the album, in a period of great difficulty due to the health emergency from Covid-19, Tothem have organized a series of social events on their YouTube channel.
Thanks to their live attitude, the band's latest shows sold out in a few hours.
From June 10, 2022, the new single “Celebrate”, presented at the “Una Voce per San Marino” Eurovision Song Contest, is in rotation on all dedicated radio and TV stations. The song peaked at number 36 on the national chart.
